The Pujada de Lluc a Peu

Every year people from surrounding towns and villages gather and meet for a mass organised trundle up to Lluc. 

It happens at the beginning of September when people sign up with their local town hall where they are given a tshirt and a nightlight and a bus ride to the meeting point at Plaza del Bestiar in Inca. From there thousands make the ascent up to the Sanctuary of Lluc. 

This pilgrimage is organised by the Association of Old Blavets; The Blavets are the children of the choir of Lluc. The departure takes place in the early hours of the morning from various villages where people board their bus and converge in Inca ready for the hike.

Running for over 40 years, each year participants reach numbers in their thousands from more than 40 towns. Check your local town hall for information and sign-up.
