Experience a musical theatre production set in Pollença during the mid-16th century, in the immediate aftermath of the corsair attack led by Dragut on the night of 30–31 May 1550.
Although the story is a fictional drama, the production remains closely connected to the historical events that inspired it. Divided into two parts, the play explores the difficulties of establishing an official account of what really happened, while reflecting on the heavy price paid for victory.
The events of that night are recorded in historical archives as “the day of misfortune” (el dia de la desgràcia).
