Michael Potter Limited Edition Photo Exhibition: Can Axartell

On view until the end of October, the renowned bodega Can Axartell, in the Pollença countryside, is presenting a stunning exhibition by London photographer Michael Potter.

Michael Potter is a English limited edition photographer who has been visiting the island for many years. He works internationally to commission and for exhibition. In November 2023 he started photographing 12 images of the trees of Mallorca that inspired him to be produced in black & white, and in large format. In December he was given access and supported by bodega Can Axartell to work within their estate and six of those images are now featured in the exhibition alongside other tree portraits that inspired him.

“Photography produced in this way allows viewers to fully appreciate the subtleties, tones and relevance of looking again at something that is everyday familiar. I wanted to show these specimens as living sculptures and plant portraits.”
