Cala de Sant Vicenç is preparing for more than a week of celebrations this August, with the Festes de la Cala de Sant Vicenç 2026 bringing together live music, traditional events, family activities, food, culture and fireworks.
Taking place from 14 to 23 August, this year’s programme has been designed to offer something for all ages, with events spread across several locations in Cala de Sant Vicenç including Plaça de Cala Molins, Plaça dels Pins, the Mirador de Cala Barques and the Church of Sant Vicenç.
The festivities begin on Friday 14 August and continue through to Sunday 23 August, with highlights including circus performances, traditional dances, a family adventure circuit, an outdoor concert, Trempó & Jazz, the XIV Gran Cantada d’Havaneres and a fireworks display.
Here is what’s happening throughout the celebrations.
Friday 14 August
The programme begins at 20:00 with the opening of the exhibition Cavall Bernat. Material Sensible at the Saló de l’Hotel Molins. The exhibition, organised by Museu de Pollença, will remain open until 13 September.
Saturday 15 August
At 20:00, CircArt arrives at the Placeta de l’Església with Escuela de Super Héroes, a circus activity suitable for all ages.
The event is organised by the Àrea de Cultura.
Sunday 16 August
The evening begins at 21:00 with the Pregó, or official opening speech, at the Mirador de Cala Barques.
Antoni Cerdà Cerdà will deliver this year’s speech, titled Temps enrere, persones i negocis que ja no hi són. This will be followed by a performance from the Cor de Pollença under the direction of Toni Borràs Mateu. Granissat will also be offered to those attending.
Usually, later in the evening at 22:30, Plaça de Cala Molins hosts a children’s static correfoc featuring the children’s group of Ca de Bou and guest group Manafoch, accompanied by the Batullença percussion group from Pollença. However, this year it has been cancelled due to extreme heat and fears of fires.
Monday 17 August
A family-friendly activity takes place at 17:30 with Salats amb salut, combining circus workshops, body balance activities and environmental education focused on Pollença’s marine ecosystem.
Participants are asked to bring swimwear, a diving mask and snorkel. The activity takes place in Plaça dels Pins and is organised by Cap de Fibló and Arrels Marines.
Tuesday 18 August
Adventure activities take over Plaça dels Pins at 16:30 with a Circuit d’aventures featuring kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, a zip line and other activities.
If sea conditions are unsuitable, activities will take place outside the water. The event requires advance registration and is aimed at children aged between 8 and 15.
The activity is organised by Món d’Aventura.
Wednesday 19 August
At 20:00, Plaça de Cala Molins hosts a Festa de blanc with line dancing led by Linedance Balear.
Residents and visitors are invited to dress in white and join in the evening of music and dancing.
Thursday 20 August
Traditional culture takes centre stage at 20:00 with a Ball de pagès performed by the group and school Aires de la Cala.
The event takes place in Plaça de Cala Molins.
Friday 21 August
Friday brings one of the busiest evenings of the celebrations.
From 17:00 to 20:00, a Taller d’estiu offers family arts and crafts activities using paper, paint and wood at Cala Molins, 12A. The activity is aimed at children aged four and over and participants are encouraged to wear clothes that can get dirty.
At 19:30, the exhibition Conversa, Felip Caldès i Vicenç Ochoa: front a front dues mirades artístiques amigues opens at Hotel El Vicenç de la Mar. The exhibition runs from 21 August until 18 October.
At 20:00, a Cercavila parade travels through Cala de Sant Vicenç with the Banda de Cornetes i Tambors del Soldà, giants and caparrots from Esbart de Sant Jordi and the xeremiers Orats.
The parade starts at the Mirador de Cala Barques before continuing through Cala Clara, Temporal, Mestre Paco and Torrent de Can Botana, finishing at Plaça de Cala Molins.
At 21:00, Trempó & Jazz takes place at the esplanade of the old church of Sant Vicenç. The evening includes a traditional meal of trempó, tuna, ensaïmada and ice cream, with live jazz from 21:30 by Jive Jam.
Tickets are €10 for adults and €5 for children up to the age of 12. Tickets can be collected from Pizzeria Pipa until 19 August.
Saturday 22 August
Live music takes centre stage from 21:30 with a Revetla featuring Lipstick Groove, La Hoguera with their tribute to Extremoduro, and DJ Clandestino.
Food trucks will also be available during the evening.
The event takes place in Plaça de Cala Molins.
Earlier in the day, the VI Torneig de Vòlei Platja Miquel Quer takes place from 09:00. The beach volleyball tournament requires registration.
Sunday 23 August
The final day of the Festes de la Cala de Sant Vicenç begins at 21:00 with the XIV Gran Cantada d’Havaneres, featuring Arpellots at the Mirador de Cala Barques.
The celebrations then conclude at 23:00 with focs artificials (fireworks display) at Maressar, provided by Jordà SL. It is currently uncertain if this will happen also due to fears of starting forest fires.
A celebration for the whole community
This year’s programme reflects the organisers’ aim to create a festival for everyone, bringing together music, circus, sport, painting, adventure activities, traditional dancing, jazz, popular culture, revetla, havaneres and fireworks.
