Potato Fair Sa Pobla

Potato Fair in Sa Pobla

Sa Pobla hosted its Potato Night Fair last weekend as the town’s Plaza Major was lined with food stalls offering a total of 80 potato-based dishes.

Many turned out on the Friday evening to celebrate the local crop and the amazing dishes presented by local restaurants. Most were Sa Pobla residents but there were plenty of visitors from neighbouring towns as well as holiday makers who were familiar with the culinary fame of Sa Pobla.

According to estimates made by the town’s Councillor of Firas and Fiestas, Magdalena de la Fuente, it was expected that around 15,000 people would pass through Sa Pobla for the Potato Fair which has firmly established its presence on the annual calendar of events.
