President Galmés and Councillor Bestard receive an audience with the Sa Pobla football team "UD Poblense" for their promotion to the Second Division of the RFEF.
The President of the Consell de Mallorca, Llorenç Galmés, and the Second Vice President and Minister of Environment, Rural Affairs, and Sports, Pedro Bestard, received an audience today with the players, board members, and coaches of UD Poblense. The team from Sa Pobla has made history this season, achieving promotion to the Second Division of the RFEF (RFEF) with this fourth title as champion of the Third Division of the RFEF.
The meeting, which was also attended by the Consell’s Director of Sports, Toni Prats, was also attended by the club’s president, Miquel Bennà ssar, known as “Molondro,” and the UD Poblense coach, Óscar Troya, who both highlighted the sporting and personal growth of the “poblers” players this season.
President Galmés congratulated the club on this achievement, “which is fully aligned with the sporting values ​​promoted by the Consell de Mallorca among young people: effort and self-improvement as pillars.”
Galmés also wanted to recognize the work of the management team, led by former professional goalkeeper “Molondro” for more than 15 years: “a serious and exemplary management that is reflected in the successes achieved with the club that saw him grow.”
