Cancer Support Mallorca has announced that this year’s Walk Against Cancer campaign has raised an impressive €6,038.63 to support people affected by cancer across the island.
The charity apologised for the delay in confirming the final amount, explaining that several outstanding donations and payments had to be received before the total could be finalised. They are now delighted to share the figure and celebrate the remarkable achievement made possible by the local community.
The success of Walk Against Cancer 2026 was made possible thanks to the dedication and enthusiasm of participants, volunteers, supporters, sponsors and donors. Throughout April, individuals and teams across Mallorca came together to get active, raise awareness and collect vital funds to help Cancer Support Mallorca continue providing free practical and emotional support to cancer patients and their families.
The money raised will help fund a wide range of services, including counselling, medical translations, transport to appointments, nutritional guidance, exercise programmes, welfare support and much more.
A spokesperson for Cancer Support Mallorca said:
“We are incredibly grateful to everyone who took part, donated, sponsored, volunteered, or helped spread the word. Every step taken and every euro raised helps us continue supporting those affected by cancer in our community. Raising over €6,000 is a fantastic achievement and demonstrates the generosity and commitment of our supporters.”
The charity expressed its sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to making Walk Against Cancer 2026 such a success.
Together, the people of Mallorca are making a real difference in the lives of those facing cancer.
