If you’re looking for what’s on in Mallorca this weekend then head to Alcudia this weekend where the Feria de Abril will take place from May 16th to 18th in a 30×30-meter marquee located on the corner of Calle del Vidriell and Calle de Pollentia.
This year’s edition returns with a varied offering of activities for all audiences, including musical performances, equestrian shows, gastronomy, and plenty of flamenco flair.
On Friday the 16th, the fairground lights will officially be turned on at 8:00 p.m., and in the evening, there will be a performance by Arborea, the Rumba Kings, and DJ José Antonio.
Highlights on Saturday the 17th will include a Sevillana demonstration and a stellar performance by Los Manolos, with a closing performance by Rumba Kings.
On Sunday the 18th, the fair will close with a Rociera mass in the Hort dels Fassers park and the final performance by Queco Arjona.
Councilor Azahara Machado emphasized that “the April Fair is a showcase of the cultural diversity that Alcudia embraces, and a great opportunity to enjoy music, dance, and tradition in a festive, family-friendly atmosphere.” She also announced that, as a new feature, there will be an area designated for those who wish to visit the fair with horses or carts.
The Alcudia City Council invites all residents and visitors to “share this festive weekend and enjoy music, gastronomy, and Andalusian culture together in an open, cheerful, and family-friendly atmosphere.” Olé!
