The President of the Consell de Mallorca, Llorenç Galmés, is currently touring all the island’s municipalities to get a first-hand look at the local issues and this week it was Pollensa’s turn.
During the day, President Galmés officially announced that Pollença will receive €1.21m over 2024 and 2025 from the Consell de Mallorca. Specifically: €520,000 from the Works and Services Plan and €106,400 from the biennial Action Plan for Sustainable Energy and Climate (PAESC), and €583,612.48 from the Water Cycle Agreement for 2024.
Accompanied by the island councillor for Economic Promotion and Local Development, Pilar Amate, the president held a meeting with the mayor of Pollença, Martí March, and other representatives of the council. Amate pointed out that this year the POS budget has been doubled to allow for large-scale investments that until now had not been possible due to lack of funding.
