Inca’s Dijous Bo 

Inca is preparing for its Firas of all Firas, the Dijous Bo on Thursday 14th November. Mallorca’s second city will turn into the commercial, cultural, gastronomic and industrial epicentre of Mallorca with 8km of stalls and 300 stall holders.

Due to the bluetongue disease, this 2024 edition will be marked by the absence of livestock but will be replaced by a poultry exhibition of both native and international breeds.

Highlights of the Dijous Bo

Saturday 9th November

9-1:30pm at the Claustro de Santo Domingo in Inca

Copa Reina Hidromiel – International Competition

The Spanish Mead Association, have been organising the Copa Reina for five years—this is the sixth edition. This year, which will be in Inca as part of the Dijous Bo Activities, there are more international judges, more experience, and more activities. Prizes will be awarded by category and for “The Best of Show” in both Commercial and Homemade categories.

9th 11am-11pm at the Covered Market Square

IX Vermut Fest 2024 – the Balearic Vermouth Fair

Children’s entertainment, Music, Food trucks, Vermouth Tasting pack with Tapas

7pm – Inc’fernet – Children’s Correfoc with the Batucada group Fieres d’Inca at the Plaza España

11pm – Inc’fern Correfoc and Batucada around the streets starting at Plaza de La Quartera

8:30pm – Lighting of all the bonfires that are dotted around the streets

Sunday 10th November

Food market 9-2pm in Plaza de El Bestiar

10am – Meeting of the Gegantes with a parade starting at Plaza de Santa Maria la Mayor

Thursday 14th November

9:30-5:30pm. Livestock Exhibition at the Plaza de el Bestiar

As mentioned above this will mainly be poultry because of the Blue Tongue Disease that’s currently on the island.

10-1:30 p.m. Dressage Show and Equestrian Exhibition at Plaza de la Font Vella

Featuring Six-horse carousel, classical dressage demonstration, Menorcan dressage demonstration, circus dressage demonstration, Amazon-style demonstration.

Organised by the Es Raiguer Equestrian Club

10-8pm Traditional Country Market

8km of stalls will be along the following streets: El Bestiar square, Bartomeu Coc street, Orient square, La Sirena, Mayor, El Comerç streets, Santa Maria la Major square, Bernat Salas, Miquel Duran, La Pau, L’Estrella, El Bisbe Llompart streets up to the train station and La Quartera square.

A Trade Fair organised by Inca Traders and Restaurateurs Association will be at Plaza de Mallorca square
