Hundreds of people gathered at La Victòria on 1 and 2 July for one of Alcúdia’s most cherished annual celebrations.
The Revetla and Festivitat de la Mare de Déu de la Victòria once again brought together generations of residents for two days of tradition, music, religious celebrations and community activities around the Ermita de la Victòria.
The celebrations began on Wednesday evening with the traditional Revetla, which included the popular walk from Alcúdia to La Victòria, music and dancing, traditional bunyols and mistela, and rom cremat later in the evening.

The festivities continued on Thursday, 2 July, with the main feast day of the Mare de Déu de la Victòria. The programme included the arrival of the Alcúdia Municipal Band, a special mass and traditional camomile offering, followed by the Corregudes de Joies, a community paella and an afternoon Ball de Bot.
The celebrations attracted a strong turnout across both days, with the area surrounding the historic hermitage becoming a meeting point for families, friends and visitors.
Alcúdia Town Hall thanked the local groups and volunteers involved in maintaining the celebration, including the Colla de Geganters d’Alcúdia, Obreria Amics de la Victòria and the Alcúdia Municipal Band.
The annual celebration remains one of Alcúdia’s most important local traditions, bringing together religious heritage, Mallorcan culture and community life in the unique surroundings of La Victòria.
